Meet Our CREWS Peer Educators

Breezy Kawakami

Breezy Kawakami

My name is Breanna Kawakami (Breezy) and I'm a junior here at CSU! I was born in Denver and raised in Westminster as well as on my dad's farm in Fort Lupton. CREWS is an awesome organization which I am proud to now be a part of! I have witnessed first-hand the negative effects of alcohol, tobacco, and unhealthy sexual practices and how they can cause harm to an individual and those around them and I want to help students and the Fort Collins community realize and educate themselves in order to avoid the negative consequences.

Torri Anderson

Torri Anderson

Torri Anderson

Hey, I am Tori Anderson and I joined CREWS because I wanted to educate individuals about the facts of various drugs and alcohol and sexual health. I love the outdoors and being active as much as possible; I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, swimming, and weight lifting. I am also interested in biology and medicine which is why I am majoring in biology and minoring in business. After CSU I plan on attending medical school to become an Electrophysiologist.

Codi Farrar

Codi Farrar

HI! I'm Codi Farrar. I'm a junior and I'm from Fort Collins. My major is Liberal Arts The reason I joined CREWS is because I wanted to learn more about drinking, tobacco, and sexual health, and I want to be able to educate my friends and peers about it. That was the most appealing part of CREWS; I also just wanted to be in a group to make campus seem smaller. Here at CSU I live in Academic Village in Aspen Hall, it's amazing. My biggest interest is music I love it so much, I love going to concerts and buying new music. That's about it, oh I also love Facebook so feel free to Facebook me :).

Hi there, my name is Brenna Van Dok.  I am a biology major here at CSU.  I was born and raised in Colorado and I really don't see myself leaving this beautiful state anytime soon, except maybe for further schooling.  I hope to either become a gynecologist or a physician's assistant.  I love people and I love talking, unfortunately for some people, about sex, drugs and alcohol.  So don't be shy, ask away!

Brenn Wheeler

Brenn Wheeler

I'm Brenn Wheeler, an Idaho resident that has fallen in love with Colorado, Fort Collins, and CSU! I am excited for my third year in CREWS, because it allows me to be a reliable source of information for me and my fellow students! I wanted to be an advocate for health and self-awareness, because I was tired of trying to educate myself based on rumors my friends and I had heard. I love that my friends turn to me when they have questions about tobacco, alcohol, and sexual health, because they value my training, understanding, and resources as a CREWS educator. Plus, CREWS events are interactive and a lot of fun!

Jerae Martinez

Hello my name is Jerae Martinez. I was born in Wyoming but moved to Fort Collins Colorado when I was younger and this is when I fell in love with campus and decided I would become a student at CSU. I am currently a freshman and I am always proud to say I am a RAM! One of my best qualities is listening to others, especially people around my same age, this is one of the main reasons I have made the choice to become a peer mediator at CSU. I have also seen the negative effects that drinking alcohol irresponsibly, smoking tobacco, and unhealthy sexual practices have made on others and I would like to help educate my peers about these practices and how to make their experiences in college great.
